The First Parish Unitarian Church of Norwell is a liberal church in dialogue with the religious questions of the modern world, yet still honoring the best within our Judeo-Christian heritage. Recognizing no distinction of class, sex, nationality, race, age, or sexual orientation, ours is a Welcoming Church that stresses the need for community amidst the impersonality of the secular world. First Parish, Norwell, is a member church in the Unitarian Universalist Association.
June 14:
Our minister and our Director of Religious Education often affectionately refer to each other as “Ma and Pa Church.” Today’s Father’s Day service celebrates the mystical tradition of the desert fathers and lifts up the ministry of Stuart Twite, our own “Pa Church.”
June 21:
Flower Communion Sunday
This sermon was inspired (yes, you heard that right) by our minister’s recent experience of being robbed in Bucharest, Romania. Please bring a flower to share for our Flower Communion. All church picnic after the service.

The dates for this year’s summer worship services are: July 12th, July 26th, August 9th and August 23rd. Our summer worship services are lay led. If you would like to get involved or have further questions please contact Stuart Twite, our Summer Worship Coordinator at 781-659-7122 or DREstuart@aol.com.
During the months of July and August, please contact Judy Bond at 781-826-9039 or judybee63@comcast.net if you have pastoral news that seems important to share with Rev. Vicki. In the event of an emergency (death or life threatening illness of a church member, unforeseen disaster) Judy will know where to reach the minister.
